Fees & policies
At Snowdrop Wellness, I am mindful of the costs associated with obtaining mental health care. As a courtesy, I will bill your insurance for all in-network claims. I will request a credit card to be put on file on our secure and HIPAA compliant platform, when clients complete their intake paperwork. All payments, whether co-pays, cost-share or full payment, are due at the time of services. I will do my best to support you filing claims in a timely manner. As questions arise, please discuss your concerns with me
- Cancellations: For all clients, I ask for a three hour notice of cancelation to avoid a $25 no-show or late cancel fee.
- Out of Office: Should you experience a mental health emergency while I am out of office, please call 911 or head to your nearest emergency room.
Therapy investment
To make sure that we are a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. This is an investment in your health and I want you to feel confident in this investment. If we are not a good fit, I will provide referrals to help you find your next counselor. Cash paying clients can expect the investment for therapy ranges between $140-$180 depending on the length of the session.

Good faith estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059. Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. See more about the No Surprises Act from CMS for self-pay clients.
Out-of-network information
I am able to provide a superbill for therapy that is Out-of-Network. A superbill is a document that outlines the services provided, the diagnosis, and company information for Snowdrop Wellness. In these situations clients will be responsible for the full payment at the time of session. After the client submits a superbill to the insurance company, they may receive reimbursement based on their insurance plan. Clients are responsible to discuss with their insurance provider about their benefits. Clients may check their coverage by asking the insurance company the following questions:
Therapist services
- EMDR individual consultations are $100 per 50-minute session
- Pre-licensure supervision: $100 per 50-minutes sessions
