Snowdrop Wellness is offering a LCSW-S training for LCSW providers in the state of Texas who are interested in expanding their supervision offering and taking the next step in their career by obtaining the supervisor designation. By being a clinical supervisor, clinicians are enabled to shape the future of the social work profession. Additionally, supervisors can expand their clinical offerings, advance their career, increase income, and expand your clinical skillset as they stay up to date with current practices.
This 40-hour course meets the standards of the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners and the Behavioral Health Executive Council. This course includes 16-hours of pre-work and 3-days of live training via Zoom to meet the 40-hour requirement for the LCSW-S designation. This training will be interactive, full of information, conversation, group breakout rooms, videos, and activities. Participants will receive pre-work with ample time to complete before the live training.

Explore ethical scenarios when working with supervisees. Identify best practices when supporting ethical decision making.

Learn cultural considerations when working with supervisees and their clients. We will explore a variety of factors and how to be an ally in the supervision process.

Learn your supervision style
Identify how you supervise and what you want to bring to the supervision experience. Participants will have electronic surveys they can use to assess skills for themselves and their supervisees.

Texas Administrative Requirements
Best practices for supervision in Texas. Participants will receive electronic copies of forms that can be tailored for current practice.
Cost
$650 per participant
Participants will receive 12 hours of CEUs that includes Ethics and Cultural Competency. Participants will walk away with a number of digital tools, ideas for curriculum, and empirical support for supervision.
